Welcome to Florence Elementary School. Florence Elementary School is a 3rd-5th grade elementary school anchored in the wonderful community of Florence, Mississippi located just minutes from our state’s capital city of Jackson. 

The staff and faculty at Florence Elementary School are committed to providing the best possible education for every child in a safe, nurturing environment. Here at Florence, teaching and learning focus on meeting and exceeding the Mississippi Common Core State Standards for every child. Varied levels and differentiation of instruction provide a framework to challenge advanced students and support those who are struggling, while creating a solid classroom experience for students learning at or above grade level.
